Blazer Dress

Hello all! Happy post holiday week. I was fortunate enough to celebrate the Fourth of July over a long weekend and getting back to a normal sleep and work schedule has been a #struggle. I've also been seemingly absent this summer on the blog, as well as posting less on Instagram. In addition to sharing this blazer dress with y'all, I wanted to share what I've been up to these last few months and share what's coming for EH!

If I could only shop dresses for the rest of my my life in one place: it'd be Chic Wish hands down. Chic Wish makes the most feminine and sophisticated dresses ever. This blazer dress is to die for- ruffles, pearls, cutouts..I'll take them all. I'm convinced you can't not feel incredibly elegant and like a million bucks in this ensemble. Wear it to brunch, on a night out- any place that the word glamour comes to mind. You can shop dress for less than $70! It comes in white as well. Chic Wish sells numerous other blazer dresses in different colors, like my beloved favorite color pink, and/or without the pearls and ruffles.

Senior year. New internship. Summer classes. Summer job. It's been a crazy summer, y'all. If you've kept up with EH, I was diagnosed with TMJ in April after not knowing for months why I was in so much pain. Once I was home in Charlotte for the summer, I couldn't help but feeling like I needed to press pause and take a break. A break from a full-time school schedule, a break from making plans on the weekends with friends, a break from social media. With one summer class, an internship and a part-time job- I needed a few days to breathe this summer and take time for me. To decompress after my junior year. Taking time to truly relax after class, an internship and a job left little room for blogging and planning content. My TMJ is caused by stress and I owed it to my body to take it easy while in the least busy season of my life I'll ever probably be in ever again.

I took a short break- and I'm back! I'll me moving back to Raleigh in a month for my senior year at NC State. I'll continue to work in PR/Marketing for a company based out of Charlotte remotely. The blog will be as busy as ever! There are lots of back-to-school posts coming your way and partnerships I cannot wait to share with you.

Thank you for your support always!
