One Year Blog Anniversary

I cannot believe I'm writing this post- it's been a full year since I started Enticingly Haute! This date means so much to me, especially being so close to my favorite day of the year. Before I jump in to reflecting on the past year with EH, I have to share this Pretty Missy NYE dress with y'all. All my rose gold loving girls- this dress is perfect for you to ring in the new year! The silhouette of this dress compliments the length of it beautifully, making this dress dinner and party perfect in about a week. I love the rose gold color for something different from the go-to silver or black for NYE. Even with the sparkle detail in the front of the dress, the dress is very comfortable to wear and walk around in. You'll love the price as much as you love the dress- it's only $22 y'all! You cannot beat that for such a gorgeous party dress. I'm wearing a size small for sizing reference. It's fully stocked in all sizes and there is still time to order it for NYE!

One year of blogging:

Again- how am I writing this post right now?! I feel like I was just in my parent's living room shooting flat lays of products for my first blog post. A year ago, I posted my first blog post on Enticingly Haute. I started my blog to share my love of fashion and beauty. I love to express myself through these two. When I've found a new beauty product that is clearing up my acne or a good pair of jeans that make me feel like a million bucks, I share these things, hoping that I can share something with y'all that will make you guys feel like superstars. I've always held on to the belief that when you feel your best, you do your best. I created this platform to share my love for the things that make me feel glam and work for me, but more than anything to share products, brands, and pieces that I hope will make you guys feel good too. Whether you leave with a new beauty product you want to try or an outfit idea for a date night you've been stressing about creating, even having helped one person is what makes EH worth it and brings so much joy to my life on a daily basis. The blessings the blog has brought me this year are so emotional to think about. EH started out as and after I found success in partnering with brands and creating an interest for partnerships with my blog, I bought a domain. I learned how to master (to the best of my ability) photoshop. I learned how to correctly (again, to the best of my ability) use a camera. I partnered with Sephora and CVS Pharmacy. Stores I shop at on a weekly and monthly basis. I took on EH as a full-time job this summer. I made so many new blogger friends in Raleigh with girls I want to be in my wedding one day. I hosted an event of my own last month and got to meet readers, women that follow along with my blog on a daily basis and told me they even had it bookmarked and pulled up on their computers at home. The blog has become part of my life this past year and it all feels like a dream. A dream that I have had since high school. A dream that I never acted upon before this past year because I was scared. Scared of rejection, scared of failure, and scared of the unknown. Y'all have trumped my wildest dreams of what I thought blogging would be like. I am so proud of what EH has become the past year and it would not be what it is without y'all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and support this past year. Whether it's through a comment, email, like, purchase, share, text, etc. I am forever grateful that y'all have made this dream possible for me and this past year the most fun of my life. If the last year has taught me anything, it is that celebrating the "no's" and "not yet's" in life are SO important. This past year has proven time and time again, that thing's fall into place exactly how and when they are supposed to and there is so much comfort in God's will and plans for our lives. If I had never acted on the "no's" and made the most out of the "not yet's" in my life, I don't know if there would be a blog. Before EH, I was cool with playing it safe in life and not taking a ton of risks that could end up getting me hurt. This blog has rocked my world in every right way imaginable and I am so excited to see what the next year and ten after that look like.

Thank you guys for everything, y'all are amazing.

  1. My husband and I had a particular vision for our wedding, and we were struggling to find the right venue, until we came across this place. I liked the Chicago wedding venues, the manager and his team are second to none.
