Distressed Sweater and Gingham Shorts

Happy Thursday y'all! I have been itching to debut my new hair to y'all and finally got around to shooting/uploading my first post with it! For anyone reading this post that doesn't follow me on Instagram, I got extensions! They are seriously one of the best things I have ever done for myself- I feel like a new woman y'all. I tagged Julia, my hairstylist, on Instagram as well as her salon. There will be a full blog post on my extensions and my experience with them in the next month. I'm already so obsessed with them. The timing of getting them was absolutely perfect, as I head to Charlotte to walk in Charlotte Fashion Week this weekend. I'm so excited to see what my hair looks like stick straight (since I never straighten my hair).

I am so excited for y'all that this entire outfit is on sale. My top and shorts are from Grey Bandit. This clothing brand is so much fun y'all. Their chic/edgy clothing will mix perfectly with pieces already in your closet- I can already think of two pairs of jeans I want to wear this sweater with and a ruffled bodysuit that would be perfect with these shorts! I promise when y'all check out their clothing you will fall in love (just like I did)! I love brands that offer a variety of styles for every type of girl and this brand is just that. My fringy sweater is cropped and also comes in white! These gingham shorts could double as a skirt and are so flowy and comfy. I'm wearing a size small in both for size reference. You can save 15% on your Grey Bandit order with code: FALL15. My bag is on sale for less than $200, I found a great dupe for my wool hate under $20, and my shoes are only $15 y'all! I get so many questions/comments about them and absolutely adore them. I can't believe they're so inexpensive right now.  I'll have this fall transition outfit on repeat as I wait for colder weather in NC! Once can hope it will actually feel like fall soon.
